This building was built on a former large estate founded in the seventeenth century with its avenue of trees by the syndic Jean-Louis CHOUET. Historically, there was a dwelling and farms. Originally, the building was a simple pavilion in the middle of gardens, with a terrace staircase lined with ironwork. This building was raised and renovated around 1765, into a mansion with a simple triangular pediment and a porch on the terrace of the Rhône. In 1777, it was greatly enlarged, the estate was increased by vast outbuildings in the nineteenth century.

Between 2008 and 2009, the property underwent extensive renovation work to redevelop this building which had been separated into several apartments by its previous owners. The building as a whole has been cleaned up, whether at the foot of the load-bearing walls or the framework. The roof has also been recently renovated and openings have been added to bring light into the attic.

Between 2008 and 2009, the property underwent extensive renovation work to redevelop this building which had been separated into several apartments by its previous owners. This work was supervised by architects specialising in patrician residences to restore and respect the function of each room. The attic apartments have been dismantled to create a large workshop. As part of this restoration, bathrooms have been created or modernized and the kitchen redesigned. All floors, walls, woodwork and ceilings have been carefully restored. The single-pane sash and French windows were adjusted and fitted with small seals to improve their airtightness. The formerly boarded-up windows have been reopened and manufactured identically to their neighbours.

The exterior fittings of the property are particularly qualitative. The forest on the northern part of the plot is regularly maintained. A beautifully wooded terraced garden surrounds the main building. Vines have been planted on the lower part of the plot. Finally, the fields are regularly maintained by a local farmer.

The veranda already appears in old photos of the building dating from the early twentieth century. It is a building flanked by the Maison de Maître which can be accessed from the garden and from a workshop on the garden level.

The poolhouse is a recent addition dating back to 2009. The building is built below the mansion, hidden from the main terrace by the level created by the earthworks. This construction is made of raw cedar. A plant-covered arbour houses this small building and protects an outdoor relaxation area from the sun and wind. This building contains a summer kitchen open to the outside, a shower and a toilet.
The construction of this building was carried out in conjunction with the swimming pool and the technical room that allows it to function properly. The pool is a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the teak terrace.

The water tower is a massive building of dressed stone. It was historically used to supply water with pressure.
