Chalet Trec

Ideally positioned in the hamlet of Le Crêt, Chalet Trec is just a five minute stroll from the centre of the village. A cheese farm run by monks in its former life, this beautiful chalet has been painstakingly restored over two years, retaining many traditional features such as the original chapel in the garden, but moving with the times into the 21st century with many modern facilities. Sleeping up to 12 guests in six bedrooms, the chalet is ideal for groups of friends and families alike. Set over three floors, the interior combines exposed beams and ancient stone with luxurious fabrics and furniture to create a modern yet traditional retreat. A large open-plan living and dining area with a wonderful stone fireplace surrounded by sofas provides the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. There is also a well-equipped kitchen on this level. Guests can put their feet up in a delightful cinema room with an L-shaped sofa and retro leather chairs whilst a den with faux grass, climbing wall and cosy seating area with TV will keep any younger members of the group amused. An outdoor hot tub and hammam is sure to recharge everyone for another day on the mountain. With two bedrooms on each floor, there is plenty of space to spread out. All of the bedrooms can be configured as twin’s or doubles, and have en-suite shower rooms or bathrooms.
